I know they don't release near each other, but BF3 is the one I'm looking forward to. Not sure I'm going to get Brink. Portal 2 is another one I'm more likely to get.

So with brink coming out this Tuesday, would you still buy it if the PSN was still down?

Probably. It does have a campaign to go through so that would keep me busy until the PSN is back up (which should be sometime next week).

So I decided to pick it up tomorrow. I wish the network had been back up for it though. Which team are you guys planning on playing for? Does this game work like MAG where you have to pick one at the beginning? I think I will play as resistance if I have to choose.

It looks like the perfect game to get the clan playing together again.

So i've played through the challenges and couple single player missions. I'm really enjoying so far.

Pros:

The parkour style works well, haven't had any problems yet.

Objective wheel is really neat, allowing you to see how many players are working on what, and allows you to pick whats most important.

Shit load of variety in customizing your character, guns and abilities.

I like the controls and gameplay

Having a variety of classes on the battlefield is really beneficial.

Cons:

Missions seem short so far

Story hasn't hooked me yet.

Not many challenges, but I could see them easily putting more in.

I'm really enjoying Brink but the AI is really getting me frustrated so I need to get some Brink-ing in with my clan mates. I've beaten each campaign (including the What-If missions) and have gone through most of the challenges and have enjoyed them so far but some of the challenges are just unbeatable at the higher difficulties without some other players.

I'd be down for Gamebattles but with the way my work schedule is I have no idea when I'll be home in the evenings so I won't be able to commit to anything for sure.

I bought brink....when I went in there to get it the manager says
"Brink?!? Why would you wanna get that....oh probably because you can finally get on the network...brink is a great game....if your online"

Yeah, I really enjoy it more online than offline. Though I do like the game offline. The problem is that I was having a LOT of disconnection issues today (as jbg and Purple can attest to) so if this keeps up, playing this game online will be a problem. I was able to play with Purple for a while today and with xPosterxBoyx as well after that but since then I would either get a dc when trying to join people or it would say my rank is too high to join the room (I'm at level 4, rank 18 and very close to 19). So if you guys make a room make sure it says your rank or higher if you want me to join.
