BRINK ..a new FPS

Check this out and tell us what you think.... It is definitely not your typical FPS...and with everything else looking and playing the same....this game might just be a nice breath of fresh air.

I've seen some stuff for BRINK and it's looked interesting. I guess one of the level designers for KZ2 or someone like that from Guerrilla Games is on their development team. So if you think it looks a little like Killzone 2 then that might be a reason why. Also it suppose to have have some cool AI and some sort smart movement ability ....

It allows players to manoeuvre around complex environments without equally complex input by analysing their position and judging what they are trying to do.

Grahphically to me .......it looks like Uncharted 2 ( with all the colors ) meets Mad Max ( remember the Mel Gibson movie many years ago? lol ).

It was featured in GI a while back and it looks somewhat interesting. I don't know how the multiplayer campaign will work out though. Right now I'm more interested in bulletstorm.

Across the interwebs Brink is known as a cross between Killzone 2 and Mirrors Edge. Dark and gritty like KZ2, with the controls of Mirrors Edge. Sauce, go play Mirrors Edge demo on PSN. Go to youtube and watch gameplay videos of Brink. You will see the similarities.
I think the controls scheme will make or break this game. If it plays as fluid as the movements look in game, it should take off. I like the art style, and how this movement system would lend to my play style. If it really is Killzone with Mirror's Edge mixed...I'll just play KZ2. This however; could be my inner Bethesda/hate lashing out.

Wow, this is basically playing as the girl from Mirror's Edge, in KZ2's world?
To me it looks like a mix of KZ2, Borderlands, and Mirror's Edge.

This game looks amazing. It looks like its going to have even better co-op than borderlands. I can't wait to get my hands on this one.

it's not really co-op though...
The whole game, single player or online, is the same, just with real people or AI. It's cool though.

Now I'm thinking I'm going to get this game. Anyone else? It's a game where I need teamwork, so it'd be nice to get the clan into it.

I'm down for this....It looks so beautiful, yet soo ugly at the same time..... I can just imagine all the crazy parkour shit you can do in this game
